Google Cr-48 Chrome Laptop

I just got a Google Cr-48 Chrome laptop today. This is done as part of Chrome hardware pilot program by Google. My first impression abt this was: so fast, simple, and easy.

It has 12.1″ screen, flash storage (SSD), built-in USB port, web cam, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11n, and supports 3g connection via Verizon as well. It weighs 3.8 pounds, which is acceptable to carry around.

Cr-48 is the first Chrome OS based ‘Cloud Computing’ laptop. Literally, it doesn’t require to install/set-up apps to use. Especially, this would be the most valuable factor for multi-computer owners since it automatically syncs all the information across the computers that use the same account.

Anyway, time to explore more! :)

여행…

여행은 사람들에게 굉장히 독특하고 강렬한 인상을 심어주는 매개체적 역할을 하곤한다. 특히 대중매체를 통해 여행했던 장소가 비춰질때마다 여행때 느꼈던 감정이 그대로 되살아나면서 즐겁고 애뜻한 기분이 들곤한다. 아니… 그보단 다시 그곳으로 가보고 싶어지는 느낌? :)

얼마전 드라마에서 자주 나왔던 Hungary Budapest…
최근 리얼리티 쇼에 나왔던 제주도 롯데호텔과 일본의 Shiki Station.
잠깐 비춰졌던 Hong Kong과 Singapore의 모습들.

일상생활중에 어느덧 자연스럽게 침잠되어 잊혀져가던 여행의 기억들이 전혀 예상치 못한 계기를 통해 떠오를때면 굉장히 설레이는 경험을 하게 된다. 화면들에서 나온 곳들을 직접 걸으며 보고 겪었던 경험들이 새록새록 떠오르면서 한편으론 너무 반갑고 다른 한편으론 그리운 느낌이 떠오른다. 특히 Shiki Station은 일본 Tokyo여행중 머물렀던 친구집이 있던 곳이어서 더 반가웠던 곳 :) 8개월만에 다시 본 모습엔 변화가 없는듯해서 더 신기하고 재밌었다.

아무래도 일이 어느정도 마무리되면 여행을 떠나야겠다.
일본을 다시 가볼까나? :)
