Generally most places look very similar (and familiar) to me, but I feel something different in some sense. It’s not really clear for me to specifically point out the changes for the last two years, but there are something changed! HAHA!
Anyway, I’d like to enumerate all possible things I can come up with here:
1. People: appearance, general style wrt clothes, specifically some changes regarding social status of friends. It seems many people from schools and companies are on summer vacation now, and we can see so many people packed on the street, in the subway, at the restaurants and bars, and at ANY RANDOM PLACES!!! Sometimes this gives me unexpected funs, but usually I feel some dizzy and this makes me so distracted.
2. Building: some new and tall buildings
3. Food and liquors: well.. many fancy restaurants and bars. I love Seoul mainly due to this factor. Lots of brand-new Korean liquors were introduced! (WOW!) I’m trying to taste most of them before I get back to LA.
4. Free WI-FI access points at some major coffee shops such as Starbucks and Tom N Toms
5. Weather: in terms of temperature, I don’t see any big difference btw CA and Seoul, and even CA might be worse in Summer. However, one bad thing here is that we have lots of rains (especially during this term), and thus it’s superduper humid. lol
